It’s new-release season!

So, hey! I’ve got some news to share. Book news. Which is the best news.

My book, A Good Kind of Trouble, is just about ready to be released. I’ve gone through the publishing checklist:  Edited? Check! Copy edited? Check! Formatted for print and ebook? Check! Cover art? Uh…

Yes, I probably didn’t go about publishing this book in the correct order. Note to self: Next time, start on the cover art earlier. But I found a great cover designer and I’m so excited to work with her.

I had really wanted to get this book published in March, but I’m sorry to say I need to postpone that to May. I really hope this doesn’t disappoint anyone.

But it’s not all bad news here.

On March 19, Chasing the Dollar will be one of four full-length mysteries included in the International Cozy Mysteries bundle! I’m so excited to be part of this group, which includes some of my favorite authors! Here’s a peek at what’s included:

International copyFASHION, LIES, AND MURDER (Amber Fox Mysteries book #1) by Sibel Hodge

COUNTERFEIT CONSPIRACIES (Bodies of Art Mysteries book #1) by Ritter Ames

CHASING THE DOLLAR (Miranda Vaughn Mysteries book #1) by Ellie Ashe

DEATH UNDER THE VENICE MOON (Lella York Mysteries book #2) by Maria Grazia Swan

But wait, there’s more! In April, Dropping the Dime, book two of the Miranda Vaughn Mysteries, will be released!

And in May, you’ll (finally) be able to read A Good Kind of Trouble! Here’s the back-cover copy:

Beacon news reporter Lindsey Fox is on the verge of breaking a huge story of political corruption that will make her career and make her famous journalist parents proud—or she could be thrown in jail and fired. It really could go either way.

Her recent streak of bad luck continues when Lindsey finds herself facing a bogus contempt charge—and attorney Ben Gillespie is appointed to get her out of the slammer. They once had a bad date of epic proportions—stilted conversation, food poisoning, burglary, towed car. Then there was the incident with the pepper spray. Lindsey never believed she’d see the good-looking lawyer again.

Ben can totally believe that Lindsey is behind bars. The woman is trouble. Now he has to get his new client out of jail, keep her out of the grasp of a crazed bike messenger and a shady P.I., help her save her job, and convince her to put down the pepper spray and give him another chance.

It’s a fun romp of a romantic mystery, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading Lindsey and Ben’s story as much as I enjoyed writing it!
